Does any one know what two wires are for the I.A.T. sensor? It appears mine is intergrated with my M.A.F. meter and my dealer tells me it is a seperate sensor on the intake.[Broken External Image]:

What is the down side to the install. And is there a chip you recommend?

Also Todd see you reply a lot and seem to know a lot about tracs so i will take your advice. Just curious as to why so i can improve my knowledge on ST's. Thanks Todd

First, it's not a chip. It's a resistor. And what it does is fool the truck into thinking the air coming in is colder than it is.

Dingo,

Thats why I wrote it as
.......

Big,

Dingo hit the nail on the head...

The best thing is a True cold air intake, the resisters in the summer time will only cause the truck to run rich, get bad MPG and take a chance of washing the piston rings with gas and ruining the motor...

As far as my knowledge, I pride myself on my schooling, self teachings, ability to learn and teach.

P.S Myself, Paul H, and George C also own this website..
