Uh Oh...Popping Noise

:wacko:Lately I noticed a "popping" coming from somewhere underneath the front end of my trac. I read up on some old posts but I havn't really decided what it is. The popping usually occurs when i come to a stop, take off from being at a stop, and when turning. It usually pops 2 or 3 times it seems like. It also happens when in reverse. I don't think its my brakes because it happens even when i am not braking to go around a turn. Vehicle has 40,000 miles on it. Help me please....

Might be your ball joints.

Perfect mileage for the lower control arm ball joints. Mine went out every 30,000. Like clock work.

Mine did that, and also did it when over bumps...It end up being the drivers front Body mount..Something to check into..
