I don’t have that year, but the cap looks like a fuel system evap port if it’s not the A/C service port.

My 2005 was not cooling "well" last year. I charged it with one large recharge can, and it made a huge difference.

That is NOT an A/C service port. A/C service port is on the hard lines. That is for the EVAP system and can be moved around.
