Upgrade Questions

recently purchased a limited 08 V6 2WD Sport Track -- to my shock this limited edition did not come with a dual automatic temperature control or the upgraded message center. Is it possible to upgrade at least the temperature control from manual to automatic?



Although I would have liked the upgrade message center I have to assume that is not a possible do it yourself upgrade

IDK, about the '08. But the components involved, from other ford conversions. Made the DIY upgrade none $$$ practical.

I suspect not only electronics involved. Also riping the dash apart to install hardware.

The V6 had some different options. Electronic climate control was an option. The dual zone controls could probably be put in as its just a different version of the regular controls. Forget about the message center cause there are three buttons(info, menu and reset) for it that would need to go in just below the stereo. On top of getting a replacement gauge pod and even then, don't know if all the wiring is there! Bob
