Anyone heard of a company called Veterans Affairs Services? I just heard the real VA is trying to shut them down.

They are preying on vets and trying to sell some sort of financial services. I also heard they will help a vet with filing for compenstaion or other VA benefits. But, they do it for a fee.

Here's the web site, but beware of them.

Good heads up. The problem here is these a**holes are praying on the elderly ones that wouldn't think of it. Nice. Fight for your country and get screwed by some jerk that probably never did a thing right in thier life.;)

A lot of scams evolve around Vets, Servicemen, and sinve 9/11 Police and Firemen.

Thanks for the heads up... This kind of stuff makes me just sick... If I could FRAG each and every son of a B!t*h that does this kind of stuff, I'd be more than happy to! The REAL VA is on a government website..

Yup, you gotta watch out.

BTW, there are organizations that are recognized by the VA to help vets with benefit compensation submissions for FREE, like the DAV (Disabled American Veterans, and maybe the VFW, if'n I remember right).
