VIN-Locked Xcalibrator 1

I bought an Xcalibrator 1 from another member here a while back, but came to find out it is VIN-locked. My own fault for not looking into it a bit more...



Anyway, I'm looking to sell it to someone else who can find a use for it or is willing to pay to have it unlocked. Any takers? Make me an offer in e-mail: [email protected]

How much does it cost and what is the process of having the vin removed? If we can come to a reasonable price I am interested.

I'm flexible on the cost. To get the xcal unlocked you have to send it in to Wayne, who sends it in to SCT, who unlocks it for a fee.

sorry for the dumb question but whats the difference between the 1 and 2? and what kind of cost difference would there be with buying the 1 and having it unlocked??

according to Wayne it would cost $225 to have it unlocked and then more $$ to have it reprogrammed for your truck.

That's not true as I understand it. SCT charges $150 to unlock an Xcalibrator.
