Just wandering if anyone here is a Lost freak like me. Last nights season conclusion blew me away. Could have done without the 97 commercials though.

I agree about the commercials. The episode was absolutely fantastic though. So many twists and new plotlines to look forward to next season. I think that was the best episode they've ever done.

Iam a fan also. I had to leave the house last night but I have it taped so, I can watch the last episode today..I think it is a fantastic series....

I will not divulge TOO much info for those of you who had to tape it....but the twist with Desmond's g/f in the end was GREAT! Cant' wait till it starts back up!

I am definitely a fan, too. I agree with Heather. Now that so many of the original questions are finally being answered, like what caused the plane to crash, I think the show is heading in new directions for season three with many new characters (not all on the island, either) to go with it.

Commercials? What commercials? Tape? No commercials/tape with Tivo :)

Good episode, contained some answers, but opened up a whole lot of new questions.

TIVO is a great item to have. the commercials there were many, but tivo lets me fly through them.

The episode was great, and so is the show.

Yeah, I should have have recorded it on my DVR than watched it. Just didn't have the patience to wait. Had I known there would be THAT many commercials, I would have gladly waited. Still, it was cool. What's everyones take on that phone call at the end? And will Hurley ever loose weight on that Island?

I read that there are currently six seasons of 'Lost' pre written. That is amazing but dissapoints me. I am looking for instant gratification, I would have much preffered 'Lost' as a mini series for a week or so.

lol TomT, I don't have patience for the commercials... I wait 30-45 mins to start watching a 2 hour show, and I'm caught up with 'real time' by the time I reach the end.

The phone call at the end would either be for Desmond's g/f trying to find him, or she's out to find the source of the electromagnetic field in order to expose her father's company.

Good call. I don't think there was any love between her and her father so I suspect the latter.

Has anyone else noticed the Hanso Corporation commercials mixed in with the real commercials the past few weeks. They send you to websites. Yesterday they mention www.hansocareers.com

Interesting stuff.

What is up with the four toed monster foot?

I loved the pile of notebook tubes.

Probably the best episode in two seasons. I'm glad the stuff with the hatch and the computer is finally explained and over with.

Those Hanso Corp commercials are supposed to be a part of the interactive online game that ABC created to go along with the show.

Gonna be a long wait until next season, though.

Whats "Lost" ?

Just Kidding :)

Loved the episode. I now feel complete. J/K :)

It was a great episode. What was up with the nod from Jack to the other folks, right before the hood went on? Did they want to get caught? when does the season restart, cant wait

stay safe

We are all ticked off that my tivo only recorded the first hour!:angry: We had it set for a season pass too. It done this when Third Watch had their last show too.

Anyone have a DVD of it?

I am still LOST regarding the black smoke monster? I missed any explanation about that.

Glad they moved from almost fantasy stuff to almost plausible.

But they killed off my fav tough girl. Loved her sneer.

I am a sucker for "GOOD" (my opinion) TV, but I deliberately NEVER got into "Lost". Just don't have the time. Someday I will rent the DVDs and have a marathon.

My must-see TV each week is:

- 24 (the WHOLE FAMILY loves it)

- Battlestar Galactica (this is for me and the boys)

- Smallville (time with the kids...and my inner kid)

- The Sopranos (wife and I only)

- Deadwood (wife and I only; starting SOON)

- Entourage (wife doesn't wath; also starting again soon)

- Big Love (I got the wife to start watching it)

- Grey's Anatomy (time with the wife)

- ER (me and the wife)

There are a few others I like to not miss, but mostly watch them only if I get a chance, and they include:

- House

- Boston Legal

- The West Wing (over).

That's at least 6 hours of must-see TV each week (not all the shows run simultaneously throughout the year).

What's nice is some I watch with the kids, some with the wife, some with the wife and kids...and ALL of them, we DVR, so nary a commercial in sight when we watch them thanks to the 30sec skip button.

Oh, and we also watch every one of them in HD...I won't watch SD tv anymore.

Ever since we got the DVR we watch MUCH LESS TV, but we also watch MUCH BETTER TV.

Just got this in an e-mail at work...I need to watch the ending again.

“after the show was over and you see/hear that logo 'baaad robot'

there's a small 7 second clip. DID ANYONE ELSE CATCH THIS?

it's a shot looking out over the ocean from the/an island. you can see debris falling from the sky then all of a sudden what appears to me to have been a shuttle that hits the ocean!

nothing else, just this craft coming down from the sky and hitting the ocean. no music, just the video and sound of the impact. i kept rewinding it, it looks like a shuttle but could be another plane i guess.”

.... We need to check the recording!!!!

I mean, it could be possible that the electromagnetic charge that we now know brought down the plane last time, could have brought down a shuttle....I think....interesting....
