ive always been told they are the best.

they prodeuce very little very dust, and are very quiet.

but someone today told me that if you dont upgrade your rotors,

that since its a top of the line brake pad, it wil eat up your current rotor.

Not true..... if you use the proper matched pad.... if the OEM was semi metallic and you go ceramic you may wear the rotors more...

the problem is most rotors are at min thickness any way..

I have had wagner Thermoquiets on my '02 trac, and like them a lot. very, very little dust, if any at all... Stops hard and quick, they do heat up and smell if you brake really hard or a lot in a short amount of time... They will fade if you are towing a lot and don't have the trailer brake adjusted right... I would but them again... I threw them on, to used NAPA rotors (POS, BTW) I just took a 4-1/2" grinder to deglaze the rotors and slapped them on... that was 20k miles ago... HTH

Yep, what they said. Wagners are quiet and they stop well. For best results, resurface the rotors or use new ones and you'll be very pleased. BC

I just put a set of them on my 06 F150 along with some Wearever rotors (only thing in stock and couldn't wait for anything else) and so far they've been great. I've got about 1000 miles on them over the past few days and haven't heard the first bit of noise from them, and they seem to have adequate stopping power, although I try to be very easy on my brakes.
