Did your trac have too much rake for your taste?

Not really, it's very slight; just about right actually. I'm going to trade these for add a leaf. I can't just leave good enough alone. I thought about just going back to the stock shackles with no extra lift but that would have required a good bit of cutting.

I'm still trying to figure out which ones will work best. I almost found a set from a guy nearby that had F150 AALs but had to ask him a few questions and turned out they were 3" wide instead of 2.5". :banghead:

They aren't. I've been too busy to get them off and get the add a leaf installed. Taking a dinner break (mexican take-out, yeah!) and then going to try my luck again. I would have had it done last night but I didn't have an impact 18mm socket or even a deep well 18mm, so I had to go buy one today.



Arturo is still the pending sale, though.

Oh ok. I'll be starting on mine today after work. The new leafsprings should be in today so I'll start swapping out the old ones and the shackles. So where did you find a add a leaf for a Sport Trac? I talked with Frank at the spring shop and he said he could make a pair of add a leafs but it would be one of the larger springs not just a small one that bolts onto the bottom of the pack. He said two springs plus new longer center bolts for $150.

Pro Comp 13120 I think is the number. I'll check later to make sure that number is right. $34.10 to my door.

Nice, I'll have to look into that. The spring shop gave me Explorer springs so I need to take them back and get the right ones shipped.

Just sent Arturo the email I promised him. I'll wait to see his response. If he passes, I'll open it back up but will go in order of who responded to this post.
