Well it finally hit me

Well it happened today, the O/D light started flashing. dropped it off at the local trans shop. they read the codes and it gave fist second and fifth gear ratios incorrect. Estimate for repair is $500 plus parts it is supposed to be ready on Monday.

Not our month for vehicles, first was the attempt to steal the wifes truck ($1100 in damages) and now this. when it rains it pours. O well life sucks and then you die.

Sorry to hear it has not been your month. Is there any way that the damage can be traced back to the theft of the auto. Did you have an idea of miles when it was stolen vs when it was recovered?



It would be nice to be able to have your insurance cover this all at one time if possible.

Sorry i wasn't clear. Wifes Dakota was damaged during attempted theft, it's my Trac in the shop for trans.

And, I read the other post, just thought it happened to your Trac as well....
