I got the miracle I needed for Christmas.

I came home from work on Tuesday and found my young cat (only a year old) profoundly lame in his right hip. I took him to the vet immediately and an x-ray revealed he had a broken hip. He is too small to pin the hip so the vet did a sort of hip replacement. He removes the ball and reattaches the joint making it into a sort of shoulder. Mickey will be immobile for 2 weeks and then restricted to a dog kennel for 6 more weeks.

His prognoses is very good for a full recovery. I have no idea whatsoever how he broke his hip. He is never outside. I think he fell over the side of my basement stairs trying to play with his toys.

I rescued Mickey when my Goldie passed away and would have been devastated at another loss. I am very fond of my pets. Too much so maybe.

This was my Christmas miracle

A dozen undershorts, 6 pair of "footie" socks and 2 Harley shirts, YATZEE!!!

Gerry Mac, I glad to hear kitty is going to be OK. Sometimes I think I feel more for animals than I do people. The little ones wore out my golden(Molly) to the point of exhaustion. I'm glad they went back home with thier parents, WHEW. Hope Christmas was good for all. BC :smile0015:

Some shooting accessories, T-shirts and Shorts, Digital Multimeter, vegetable grilling tray.

This year was more about the kids.

Yea trade a six pack or whatever to see what other people are putting together. I've got a buddy here that brews too, so we are always trading. Nice to have different beers in the fridge.

Aloha, mostly polishing pads and microfiber clothes to polish the cars. That is what I wanted. Other that that I had some time with friends. That was the best part of Christmass day.

God bless you all Ed

A very good time with the whole family. Also I was intrusted with a Christmas presentation. From the pastors podium at my church. I found that unique, because I have only been there for a year. For me those were much better than material things.

Most notably...

New surfboard

Yakima surf racks (pics soon)

6 pack of gurkha centurians

Rip curl watch

New digital camera

Tickets to "Stomp"...

and a weekend off :smile0015:
