What size snow tires?

I'm looking into getting snow tires, right now I have the 235s on the 16"s. I'm probably going to keep the tires on the same wheels for now. What size should I run with? I was thinking the 245/70/16 would be good but all I can get for studded snows around here are the cooper m+s. Anyone have a recommendation for a tire size that'd give me more options?

My tires are Snow and Ice tires (non studded) P245/70-16. I find LTs too hard for winter here.
