Well, One of those days, thinking what to do with this spare time... LOL:lol:

We built 4 of these tanks, 23 feet deep, 100 plus feet long on each side...

They must be filled with clean water for testing before the sewage can be allowed to flow into them.....

So why not take a swim and play with the boat !!!!!!

Not to mention it was only 60 degrees out !!!!! LOL

Just wanted to share..

Cool! Now you can tell your Grandkids that when you were young, you swam in a sewer tank! LOL!!!

Send that water South!

Fulton County (GA) watering police were out today and tagged my neighbor's mailbox for illegal watering. The fact the hoses and all were laying in the yard made 'beyond a reasonable doubt' pretty easy.

lol ok..who peed in the pool? J/K! Glad you guys had fun!

PS:

Please don't post the pics after the sewage does flow thru there... ha ha ha

Yeah, I have enough memories of a certain plant in Iowa, that really stunk it up! A coworker and I were there to measure the tanks for new containment covers, and could not believe the stench when we stepped out of the car. On January 3rd, with a high of 13 degrees that day, we drove back to catch our plane in Chicago at 70 mph with the windows down, just to get rid of the smell!

P.S. I went back a few years later to check on a corrosion question. I turned out to be not our stuff, but I was really impressed with how much better it smelled! I guess our stuff worked.

P.P.S. Corn waste really can eat steel! The corrosion problem was not with our aluminum and stainless steel pieces, but another supplier attached their aluminum panels with steel rivets and screws, which were totally gone, leaving the panels loose and falling off! Thankfully we were the containment, and they were just internal ductwork.
