So, how long has your Trac gone without a wash'n?

Mine is just about 3 weeks... I have been super busy...

It looks just a little worse than this:

In the winter, sometimes I go as long as 3 months between washes. If it is too cold, the doors freeze shut. Once you wash it, a short drive down the street and it is dirty again.

This is what a Trac looks like after a day or two during the winter. That is salt on the Trac. A car with minimal rust in the fall will have major rust come springtime.

Bought it on July 6th, '05. First wash was Sept. 15, '05!

I felt really bad, and it will never happen again, I promise!!!

Some of the bugs on the front end had "married" to the paint.

Got some Meguiar's, elbow grease, and all is as good as new.

I learned my lesson.

Although, in my defense, I detailed the interior three times during this period.

California dash duster, Meguiar's dash and vent detail brush, and a B@D cordless

vacuum are always at my side in the Trac.

After all, I have to live in there and breathe that air! :)

about a month....

I'm averaging once a month out here in SoCal, but mine's D.Blue Pearl which shows dirt and grime real easy. Plus I don't get to put her in the garage. Sad thing is each wash I notice new nicks and scratches. Heartbreaking really, but whatcha gonna do?

7 days, and that was only because it was like 20 degrees out.. I went ahead and washed it at about 30 degrees, then brought it home and let it thaw out in our heated garage before I could detail it. -Heather
