Hi again

Just been told I need a new right front wheel bearing for my 2001ST 4x4 w/110,000miles on it.

Anyone know if this is an easy fix (I have a Fire Department apparatus mechanic willing to do it) and what parts I need to proceed...? I just looked at Rock Auto's site and there are too many choices for a non-mechanic like me......!!

Any help much appreciated....also if I am doing one, does it make sense to do the other...???

Ive done both sides on mine, whole bearing/hub/anti lock sensor is one part ,not too hard, basic tools Im going to wing it here and try to remember how it goes,

- remove wheel(duh!),

-brake caliper and caliper holder(2 bolts on backside),

-dust shield,

-wheel nut and washer(I think this requires a 1 1/4" deep socket)

-and the 3 large bolts on backside holding hub/bearing assembly

- dont forget the anti lock sensor(wire going into top of hub), unblot or follow wire up to a connector and undo, new sensor shold come attatched to hub.

It should all now slip free of the axle assembly, Its been a while, so if I missed any poits, sorry, but thats as best as I can remember

Assembly looks like this
