Ok guys... gotta wheel question for ya. I'm looking at trading the Trac in on a '07 GT. The one I'm looking at has the optional 18" wheels. They are 18 x 8.5". What I'm wondering is if I can use the Saleen Explorer XP8 wheels I currently have on the trac on the new mustang. I know the backspacing/offset is different, but I think what it'll do is push the wheels out about 1/2" (which I think I'm ok with.) My question is will there be clearance issues w/ the calipers, etc. I've still got the stock wheels and tires for the trac and can put them back on before trading it in. Then swap the tires from the mustang wheels onto the Saleen wheels. Hopefully someone that understands backspacing and offsets can help me out. I guess worse case scenario, I can just sell the Saleen wheels outright. Pics of the wheels are in my library.

I think I found where the new mustangs are running around 45mm of backspacing... that means mine would stick out over an inch further... don't think this is gonna work...
