Just bought a 2003 XLT 4x4 Premium. It had 15 in Wheels on it. We changed to the 16 inch and the quality of the ride went downhill. Can anyone tell me what I will get the most comfortable ride out of as far as wheel size and tires?

My '03 ST 4wd came with 16x8" XLT wheels and 255/70/16 wranglers. Before the lift I upgraded to 265/70/16 Bridgestone APT III's, there was a big difference in ride comfort ( for the better ). :supercool::banana::driving:

what was the old tire size? What is the new tire size. It could be you lost some cushion from the tire being the same diameter, as the 15"s. Or the type of replacement tire.

Also check the air pressure. The shop might have put too much air in them.

Tires...it's all in the tires. In general, you shouldn't notice much of a difference (if any) -- as long as you have decent tires, and the correct size.
