Hello,

I am wanting to put 16" rims from a 08' ST on my 04" ST. I know that I will need spacers to move the rims out, but my question is how thick of a spacer do I need to use to keep my factor tire location? 1", 1.25", 1.5" ??

Thanks,

Greg

The offset of '04 wheels is +12mm on a 7" wide rim.

Need to know the offset and rim width of the '08 rim.

I thought the gen 2 ST came with 17" and 18" rims, not 16"

I would check that out. I could be wrong. I thought the gen 2 base was 17", limited 18" and STA 20"....

Ok I just checked tire rack. the base xlt. Came with 16" or 17" my mistake,,,

Still need to know the rim width and offset. Then I can help you with spacer thickness

Gen 2 Base XLT's came with 16" wheels and 235/70-16 tires. However most came with an option package that included 17" wheels and 245/65-17 tires like mine did. The 16" and 17" wheels are nearly identical in appearance.
