Iam considering a nostalgic look on my Trac. Does anyone know if any wheel company makes the chrome wheels with the center baby moon hub caps, that fit the trac. I want 17x8", I would consider 16x8". I have shoped most wheel manufactors I know of. All I have found is 15" and wrong bolt patern..Thanks for any help..

If you want a vintage look with smoothie wheels, you almost have to go with 15" wheels. I mean, they ARE vintage wheels, and there is no need to make them large diameter. You could go wires, or torque trusts.

You could always go the custom made route.

The hub caps and beauty rings are seperate parts that you buy, most wheels won't come with them.

Tiger..Iam looking for the whole wheel to be chrome with the small moon chrome hubcap. No painted wheels with beauty rings. Thanks for your reply..;)

Eddie,

I'd like to find a set of the old E.T. Mags, or Keystone Classics, for my Trac!

Unfortunately, back then, Eddie, if you remember, most factory rim diameters

were either 14 or 15 inch, which limits us now, I guess, with trying to find the

old "Classic" style that will fit our 'Tracs!

Again, I'd LOVE an old-style set of ET Mags for my 'Trac!!!

P.S., Eddie

Just don't go with the wide whitewall tires!!!

Looked good on the older classics, but I don't know how well they would look on a

'Trac!!!

No whitewalls or letters on chrome..blackwall side out only...

In my shoping around I saw the old keystones are being made again. Cant remember who...

I know what you mean, they are add on parts, usually not included with the wheels.

Not only are you limited in diameter, but backspacing as well. At 8" widths, you'll have to get 4 or 4.5' backspacing from what I've seen.

This one from American has slots but comes in 16x8 with the right bolt circle, the plain ones from American are only in 15".

Eddie, check out the Coker Tire web site, They have 16 and 17 inch smoothie wheels listed. Don't know the bolt pattern though.
