[QUOTE="Mark K 2, post: 1027463, member: 55685"] My 2001 grey-interiored Sport Trac has developed the dreaded leaking steering wheel. The sunlight has damaged the leather on the top portion of the steering wheel and black greasy stuff leaks out of the seam. The only solutions are to get a new steering wheel or get a steering wheel cover. I did the latter. I chose a Wheelskins charcoal leather cover. It cost about $50. I watched the installation video after receiving it and it looked pretty easy. It takes an hour to install, but 10 or 15 minutes of that is wasted getting the hang of threading the needle and cord the right way in the holes punched in the steering wheel cover. After an hour, I was done. The cord is waxy and tough. You can pull on it pretty hard while tightening as you go. <iframe width="854" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YTYON_kQ13U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Here are pics of how tight and neat the install was.
