Which do you like better?

I was going through some pictures that I took over the past few weeks since it's been warming up here and doing some minor tweeking in photoshop for standard color correction/balancing. My wife like the way one of the pics looks better than the other, and I'm the opposite. Just to get some input if you would which do you like better 1 or 2?

I think #2 looks more natural

#1. The focal spot stands out more. In #2 it blends in to much. Nice pics though.

#1. The blue's in the background offer good contrast which enhances the depth of field.

Two totally different type of pics.



If your looking for a subtle difference then number 2.

If your goal is to get he flowers to stand out then 1.



I like the more natural transition of number 2.

I agree with Kevin and C. No. 2 is more natural. I think the sharp focus of the flower against the blurred background makes it stand out just enough. My only question is: Is the ST parked behind the first or second flower?

I would say 1.



After looking at 1 for a while it almost looks like the flower is dying in the second one.
