Which Xbox do I need?

Hello to any gamers out there,



I am looking to get an xbox for gaming and to be able to stream movies and shows from Netflix. There are tons out there for sale on Craigslist and such but I don't know what version I need. Some come with a hard drive others do not. 20gb, 40gb, 60gb...Any advice/help is greatly appreciated.

Personally, I don't like that Microsoft makes you buy a membership to play online, so I wouldn't have one. The PS3 does all the same things and it's free to play online. Netflix, HULUplus, and even Sony's movie library are available to rent or buy digital copies. I can even access most of my videos, my pictures and music from my computers on the PS3.

Personally, I would shell out the extra $50 for a new 4gb 360. The old ones have overheating problems causing the red ring of death. That can be fixed, but ive never had one work longer than a couple months after its fixed. The 4gb doesn't really have a "real" harddrive for much storage but you can install an older style hd into the new xbox. Videos are on youtube showing you how. piece of cake really.
