Whine When Revving

2002 Sport Trac. Has developed a whine when reviving the engine. Could be described as a roar. Engine noise. Changes with rpm. Have replaced water pump, thermostat, alternator, and belt. Temp in normal range. Power steering fluid full. ?????

Fan noise due to worn out fan clutch?

I'm convinced it is the fan clutch. Replacing it today. No Motorcraft part available. On my way to NAPA

Replaced fan clutch with one from NAPA. Perfect! Roaring gone, HP returned! All good at 205K!!
