Kit finally arrived. Looks like I need an extra set of hands. If anyone is down to come to my place in Miami, FL and help there is endless pizza and beer in it for ya. :p I only really need someone to help with the cab bolts. I hear it's real easy anyway.;)

I'd almost drive to Dallas just to see, ride-in, drive, whatever Baron's soopercharged Trac!

Almost.

Well, if I lived anywhere near Miami, Id be happy to help. I got a feeling your gonna have a blast with those body bolts, especially since its a 2001.

Make sure ya got a big set of channel locks or a pipe wrench, a can of WD-40, or better yet, some PB Blaster. Also, a heat torch might be helpful, just heat the bolts a little at a time so you dont melt the bushings. Definitly get some lunch bags and number them and put the screws/bolts/etc/etc as you take them off, makes putting it back together a whole lot easier.

Good luck!

im in fort lauderdale , were in miami you at and when are you thinking about doing

i think the wife would let me play for a bit

and im cheap as i dont drink

Lane- Yeah I have an air compressor and air tools so I think with an impact driver I might be able to take care of them...hopefully. Also PB Blaster is the bomb, I know.

Illegal28- I dunno if you want to go for such a far drive. I'm in West Kendall. I drive out to Carol City about once a week and that sucks so twice that... but hey it's up to you. I'm not gonna tell you not to come if I could use the help. :)

you asked for an extra set of hands in south florida

i have a set ,as far as driving to west kendall its 30 min

i drive all over i was in key largo yesterday morning

Doral today so i dont mind,in saying all that if you want a ectra set of hands

just let me know when your planning and ill check with the boss

Brandon, I used a impact when i did mine and it worked, it was slow due to all the loc-tite on the bolts but they came out eventually.

Have a good grinder with a zip cut disk(or 3) on it for cuting the bumper supports, and pay attention to where to make the cuts, it took me a while to get mine right. Front is harder than rear.

Watch that back bolt on the fender side of the front bumper cover, they tend to snap off and are in a totally enclosed area, you,ll know it when you see it, if you can get at it and put some penetrating oil on it before hand it should help(wish I would have)

The project on here gives some good hints.I did it by myself, but extra hands sure will help

MAKE SURE your A.C. hose is clear of the bottom of the harmonic balancer before firing up the truck!!!!!!(sorry for yelling:) )

I have some pic.s of the process in the link

Good luck, its not that bad, Todd:cool:
