Why freeze the BCS thread?

Just curious, why was the BCS thread frozen? I'm sure the offending material has been purged, but there's nothing in what remains of the thread which would indicate a freezable issue was forthcoming...

Bill,



Couple of things here....



#1, I personally did not freeze the thread. So maybe some on clicked on it accidentally and closed the thread ( One of the admins)



#2, NOT a single post was "purged" from the thread



#3, IF the post was frozen, Its not any members decision to Continue the discussion in another thread..... IT was locked for a reason.....



No one emailed me about any thing, So it probably was a honest mistake.....



I unlocked it...

Todd, no problem. Wasn't intending to find fault, was just curious. Thanks!



And regarding continuing the thread elsewhere--I was guessing that the reason for locking a thread would have been for some sort of offensive material or personal attack, and that continuing the thread in a new thread would be acceptable so long as I made sure that (at least my contributions to it) avoided such issues. If it had been locked "for a reason", though, I would think it should be acceptable to ask what that reason is, so long as the asking is done civilly--correct?



Either way--I'll copy/paste my continuation content from this one to that one, and let it proceed from there.
