wind noise

Do all st have a noisy interior, from wind ,road noise,my 05 xlt is the noisest ford product i have every owned,and it only has 1200 miles,unless i was spoiled from my 03 expedition which was real quite. was wondering if I have the only noisy st made Thanks for any feedback.

In short, yes. I just turn the radio up. (that is why they put good ones in it)

The ST has been known to be noisy to some people. Since you have an 05 you already have the door seals, BUT you can adjust your doors so they close a little tighter. Also IF you have rain guards, or a sun roof, these make a lot of noise on the ST....

I don't know if they ever made carpet stock but I'm sure my ST would benefit from carpet. I did duct tape behind the door panels and it helped.

I know you can buy carpet for the sport trac for a fairly good price.

Yeah, I feel your pain. I drive a 2005 and it, too, is the noisiest Ford vehicle I've ever owned. I've said it here before. Therer's WAY to much wind roar in a vehicle at this price point. Period.
