My wife surprised me yesterday while I was at work and took my truck to get the front windows tinted. 20%

Nice Hugh. 35% front window limit here. Problem is passing our annual safety

inspection, and giving our window tint meter patrol another reason to stop us. :boohoo:

I'm probably going to go back later this summer and do an 80% tint on the windshield.



The good thing about middle Georgia is that the cops are actually out to stop crime and there are no inspections.

35% here in Texas as well but only for the front windows. All the glass behind the driver can be any tint level....as dark as you want it. I have found that if you have the electronic dimming rearview mirror, and you use an extremely dark tint on the rear window it can confuse the mirror sensors.

Same here; didn't mention that. Also, front windshield tint at all is illegal in Georgia.

Looks good man. I only tinted the rear glass 2.5% so far, this was because Matthew has to sit rear facing and was blinded everytime he rode in the truck. I still need to do the side glass.



This brings up a good question... What is the factory tint % on the front doors and the rear door glass? SO I know what % tint to still be within legal limits, Pa, Pittsburgh in particular can be strick, especially with inspection time.

Todd' partial about your truck. Check his library. BTW, it looks good. Gives it that "spy car" look. Mine are done with 13%, matches the privacy glass from Ford. Jus don't give the LEO reason to pull you over! Bob

Most my vehicles have tint. This one has the most and is difficult to drive at night.

Looks like NY, PA and RI are the worst for tint laws with only 70% allowed. I know that I have been pulled over in NYC a few times over the years.

Wow! Looks Amazing!!!!!! I Have The Same Trac And Was Thinking Of Tinting The Front To Match Back ! Looks Like Im Going For The 20% . And Im In Pa. Erie Resident And Thoe Laws Are Strict Policmen Dont Stop you So Often After Having My Infiniti Front And All Around 5% Tint!
