WIPERS

I have a 2002 Trac and my wipers just all of a sudden stopped working. Turn the knob on the turn signal stalk and i get nothing. I checked the fuse box on the side of the dash and also the main power under the hood and all seems to be fine. Any ideas? How hard is it to replace the wiper motor. Thanks in advance Shannon

Might be a relay or possibly the motor. Has it stopped working before at all. Try checking the along the steering column and see if any wires may have come lose.

Try tilting the column all the way up towards the windshield.....

That's what I was trying to remember. I knew someone said something along the lines of the column tilt messing with it.:smile0006:

It is not as common as the rear taillight issue, but it is not uncommon for the wipers to be affected as it is the same harness...
