Based on the excerpt from MLK I have a dream speech,

and what we now know about the associations that Obama has with Ayers, Wright, Flager,

Resko, ACORN and other unsavory characters and organizations.

and based upon McCains record in the military, West Point Grad congress, Senate etc.

with no real blemishes on his record. (He was cleared in any wrongdoing with Lincoln Savings and Loan)

Who would MLK Vote for?

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

Just adding fuel to the fire....

Remember, McCain is not without fault in all this.

The difference is that the Democrats are not digging for any garbage on the Republicans. They have all the ammo they need sitting in the White House.

Tom,

That line of thinking is getting old. We can no more blame McCain for Bush's mistakes than we can blame Obama for Clinton's.

Each candidate should be evaluated based on the merit of his character, not his political party. You should look at the past accomplishments of each candidate, where he stands on issues that are important to you, and also look at how competent he and his advisors are to implement what they stated they want to do.

The future of our country hangs on the decision we jointly make next month. Don't let your judgment get clouded by rhetoric and political BS. Make an informed decision.

As far as MLK. He was an intelligent and great man. I think he would have done exactly as I described above.

I'm a Canadian, so i don't get to vote on this...however, those of us who enjoy politics at large, will have to agree that there is nothing that rivals the US Presidential Elections...

That being said, and with everything that's brought the US state to where it is today (good or bad), i just want to say....

"Seriously....? These are the BEST two candidates at this time in US politics?"

i can understand the underlying feeling of change...but from what i've seen and read...i'm not convinced that Obama would be the answer.....

I agree, but people do have a memory and remember the Republican before voting for the next republican.

Line of thinking old? Maybe. A reality, you betcha.

I still hear the consertives complaining about Clinton getting a BJ in office. "Typical Democrat".

No, that's not what upset conservatives during that scandal, nor what he was actually impeached for. He was impeached for lying under oath to a Federal grand jury.

The "Typical Democrats" tried to distract from this fact with distraction and dismissing the whole thing as only being about sex, and that it was no big deal.

The sad thing is that the Senate at the time didn't have the balls to vote for a conviction based on the facts of the impeachment. And the really ironic thing is that Scooter Libby was convicted for the same thing: Lying under oath.

And this was Huckabee's problem.... we've had plenty of experience with former Arkansas govenors as President. THe last one nearly destroyed the country with scandals. Let some other state take a whack at it.

My question is why is the OB campain now slandering Joe the Plumer.

Thats because once you expose the truth, you must destroy them. Expose, discredit, and then destroy. Learned this in Law class in college.

Indeed. Don't you find it just a bit odd that the mainstream New York and DC media have spent more time investigating Joe the Plumber than they have William Ayers? Why attack Joe? It's very simple. Because his question hurt. His question led to another wonderful unscripted moment from Barack Obama .. that being his comment about spreading the wealth. Will this be our future in the ObamaNation? Become a critic of The Messiah and the investigations begin. Can't you see the big screen televisions in public places with the featureless face telling you "Do not question the Dear Leader." Didn't they write a book about that?

If you're lucky all they do is question you. If Obama (god forbid) become president, and I'm not heard from for awhile, you'll know that the "reeducation" camps are in full force.

That's total BS! The Obama campaign can't control the fact that McCain made "Joe the plumber" such a big deal that the mainstream media has taken it upon themselves to find out more about him. It was not the Obama campaign that was at his doorstep bright and early the next morning wanting to know more about him. And it's certanly is not the Obama campaign's fault that he just so happens to owe money for back taxes.

Boy I tell ya, some peoples kids.....

MLK would vote for Obama to help our nation come one step closer to the realization of the dream. Yes, we would like to think that Obama will be the next president because he is the most qualified candidate.

However, that isn't the case. He will be the next president because:

a. He is black.

b. He is not Republican.

And of those two reasons, B is the stronger one.

TJR

It is Obama's fault that he went off script and mentioned wealth redistribution (a founding tennent of Socialism) with a live camera/microphone nearby.

Why does "Joe the Plumber's" personal life have anything to do with the question that was asked of Obama and how Obamalamadingdong responded?

If you don't agree with me, I will not destroy you. My surrogates will. I will deny all aspects of said destruction. Something straight out of Chomski, who BTW, Obama studied under.

Sometimes you have to wonder what you Republicans have against democracy.

That's what this whole "voter fraud" crap is about! John McCain, Sarah Palin, and the GOP die hards that have been after ACORN and the Ohio Secretary of State, aren't concerned about protecting people's right to vote -- and in fact, their efforts largely go toward directly STRIPPING citizens of their legitimate voting rights.

Actually, precisely, this is all about building a post-election narrative aimed at delegitimizing a Barack Obama presidency by claiming he won fraudulently. It's not just a handy excuse for the ass-kicking they deserve -- it's a whole right-wing conspiracy-theory cottage industry in the making that will nurture their paranoia and rage for years down the road.

The neo con, religious, gun toting, ridiculous, fake blue collar rhetoric that is spewed by the GOP makes most of America sick to thier stomachs. There will NEVER be another bible thumpin politician that comes to national prominence in America. The regular working folks wont let the evangelical, fake christian, lying, elitist, freaks to pull of this sham again. The whole WORLD cannot afford to let this happen again. Talk about terr or ist s?? They are no different. There are moderates, then there are extremists. How does it make you feel to know that W said that GOD made him invade IRAQ??

Try to refute this one.

Dont reply with the same ole crap about Obama and Clinton. Dont try to spin and polarize. Try to gimme something positive (besides YOUR opinion of taxes) that this Republican administration has brought to America. I dare ya!

Frank in his own "making friends and influencing people" way asked:
How does it make you feel to know that W said that GOD [told him to] invade IRAQ??

As a Christian it made me feel disappointed. I talk to my God, but he has never spoken back to me in words. I pray. I ask for guidance. I ask that I be given the strength and wisdom to see his will done. I seek his counsel.

So, when GWB said that "God told him to invade Iraq", I was disappointed. I was disappointed that he didn't clarify in a more concise manner what, exactly he meant by that. But recognizing the Dubya wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and also recognizing he has the enthusiam and zeal if many "born agains", I let it go as an "off the cuff" statement meaning that he sought counsel and solace in his decision through prayer.

Prayer in the Whitehouse is nothing new.

Click and read if you want to see some examples of Presidents who seek God's counsel...including Bill Clinton:

In spite of the left wing efforts to the contrary:

1. We haven't been attacked since 9/11. Under Clinton there were a half a dozen attacks against American interests.

2. The GDP has grown even after inheriting the DOT.COM bubble burst at the end of Clinton's term and the affect of 9/11.

3. Restriction of gun ownership was held at bay even with a Democratically held House and Senate.

I could go on. Now tell me Frank what have the Democrats done for us?

Frank must have taken notes while watching Oliver Stone's movie "W"

Can we all agree that Frank is for Voter Fraud?!?

How much does this ACORN gig pay anyhow Frank?

Have you met your quota to get paid yet?

Do you know who Charles Krauthammer is?

He has diagnosed your condition...

PUTZ....Refuted:lol:
