2008 Sport Trac 4x4 Limited V6

PO had a remanufactured transmission installed @ 57,000 miles as it had a clunk/thunk sound when placed in gear..
3 year transferable warranty still had a year to go, kinda sealed the deal after researching ST problems..

I Replaced leaking thermostat housing @ 63,500 and have replaced radiator cap w/16lb version per SportTrac.com postings in 2017..
Just had new drive line built as carrier bearing rubber was failing.. $450 at local drive line service..

Carhartt truck cover fits like a glove, has provided good protection from dust storms and the relentless sun the last 4 years.. Still repelling water too..

Just turned 65K miles.. I'm only averaging 500 miles a year..

That's crazy early for a housing to leak, and that low mileage, and a trans.... and carrier bearing...... Id be weary that that truck did not have the mileage rolled back....

Totally. Mine has 125K miles on it, and I know what the 4x4 is wanting/requiring. Wish you luck!

I'm 2nd owner, PO is well established dentist who like myself is a bit a anal and replaced transmission when noise heard..
received service records and I've continued to use the shops that serviced ST since new thus sure mileage is accurate..
