For the first time I decided to see how fast my 2010 Adrenaline would go…. Apparently Ford had governed it for 100mph.

You Adrenaline owner know it doesn’t take long to get up to that speed…. Does anyone know what it takes to unleash the full potential of the 4.6l ? What can be tuned into her performance? Rick

Unleashed tuning. Contact Torrie.... BUT they are a Lead sled !! the ST will never be "Fast". Even supercharged then you break stuff.....
Tuner, Exhaust, intake, Throttle body, UDP, Lighten it up, Use 3:73 gears from the v6, Cams, or Supercharger.

My 2010 Adrenalin (57k miles) just went under the knife at the Brenspeed facility in Indiana for the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Stryker (520hp) kit. Since I’m at 5280 ft of elevation here in Denver I requested the Brenspeed Wrecking Crew for more boost via a 3.25 pulley in place of the 3.50, Brenspeeds team calculated 583hp at the Crank.
If anyone wanted to see the U-Tube video dyno runs for themself, just Google Brenspeed STA.
I drove my STA from the Brenspeed facility 1550 miles back to Denver with out any issues with a trailer in tow and a lot of Smiles Per Gallon.

They do great work and we have seen them around a while.
I just put a Whipple on my F150. Fun as heck!!!!

Anything Supercharged tends to make Lots of Smiles for Miles.
A Boosted F150 now That’s a recipe to buy stock in tires. Lol 😂

Thanks for sharing.
I have contemplated doing the same to my 2010 STA for a few years, but it just does not seem cost effective compared to a Coyote swap.

The Coyote swap is a lot of integration and work, Also the cost of buying the complete motor, trans and setup.... Yes a used f150 would work, then a rebuild if high miles, and yadda yadda yadda...... You get my point, NOW this is for NY where we MUST use a model year newer motor and have FULL emissions.... In the better states they can do whatever. So in my situation SC the 4.6 is better. also the stock drivetrain cant Handel the Coyote.... you will blow the rear and axles and driveshafts... way too much power unless you upgrade it all.... Sucks..... Could be such a fun rocket !!!!

ITs a blast, Heavy truck but still holds its own and is sooo much fun to drive !!! Plus if you stay out of boost I can do 19 highway, 16 around town, or floor it and rip !! lol..... I drove a ST that was SC, its a blast too !!! That extra bit is a game changer....

Last I checked Brenspeed was asking $9-10k for the kit not including install.

We, my son and I, are currently doing a Coyote swap in a 2006 Mustang. The 8.8 rear is the same and we would use a Coyote 6spd in the STA. The largest problems I have with the STA’s are the transmission not knowing when to shift for ultimate performance and the traction control differential not releasing the power.

The Coyote engine, tranny, and all electronics with <50k miles can be picked up for $5-6k with which is $k’s less than the Brenspeed SC.

It’s a tough decision and the STA only has 115k on it, so I’m still undecided.

True, But 9K and 2 days its bolted on and done..... :) If you love work and wiring integration and that junk, then go for the swap. But the swaps that were out there all blew up drive trains and had electrical issues. Most went manual for that reason.... Then blew the rear.... bad cycle.... Either way, Good luck with whatever you do..

Just popped 100k with a blower installed 12 years ago - we pulled the GT350R to Shelbyfest 2 weeks ago - still gets all day looks and it drew a crowd in its own at the show. No cats, E85 only - 500 to the wheels with the front shaft out. 12 years of issue free ownership.

Beautiful truck, and car!
I’m still trying to understand where the drivetrain weak link is, possibly the electronics or the carrier.?
Is that AWD with the front shaft out for dyno only, or straight RWD?

Also, it appears you are towing around 5.5k do you have an airbag suspension or just a really light tongue weight with a distribution hitch?

Were you at Shelby Fest in May 2022? Rig at gas station looks familiar.

Nope, haven’t made it there yet. We just finished a Boss302 Mustang conversion. Maybe we drive it up.

Mo Lones , owner of LSXkilr Custom Calibrations in Bonner Springs, Kansas, has "Dora The Ford Explorer." It makes over 1000 horse power and he has solved the exploding front differential problem. (not sure how)

What is your Boss302 swap? My son is doing slowly) a Lincoln Mark 8 Coyote swap

2006 V6 mustang convertible. Teaching my boys how it’s done. Mustang & STA are in the back.

It is a nice balanced aluminum drop flat trailer - it pulls super easy and is great for short run tows - the Shelby does 1/2 mile shootouts and I pull it with a SuperCharged SVR -
