That's a bit pricey, but it's waaay better than buying new or, as you say, someone else's problems. I assume the tech made sure all the parts attached to the engine were new and OEM or OEM equivalent, so you won't have any problems for another 'lifetime'?

For that very reason I got an INDUCTOR. Have use it for impossible to break-free O2 sensors. Also use on bending round-bar and other fun projects that would be too much trouble without it.

My gas gauge read wrong b/c the pot on the fuel pump assembly was worn. So I replaced the fuel pump and sender assembly and that fixed it. Did the fuel pump while I was in there b/c the check valve was leaking down during no-run time.

Now that's a reasonable price! A long-block rebuild at the local speedshop is about 4.5k. But that's a top-notch rebuild.
