Had a similar problem with my 2005 and was throwing the same 2 codes. It ended up being some sort of rubber evap hose that is located inside the drivers side rear wheel well under the plastic wheel well cover. A guy who was mounting new rear tires found it by chance when he saw it hanging down...
I was finally able to score a brand new black set on EBay for $75 from the seller truckaccessory310. They look and fit great and he had a few more sets available. The Part # is 82219b listed for a 2001 sport trac but fit my 2005 like a glove. His number is 310 560 9831. If your not fast enough...
Spoke to Russ Delbridge who was the person that told me they would be doing another run to get an update on what was going on with these guards. He said that Steelcraft has decided to discontinue them rather then do another run. I told him that he would probably be looking at over 10 orders if...
I spoke with a guy from 3d distribution this week about the Tail light guards for the gen 1 trac.
3d distribution handles sales for steelcraft. I told him the tail light guards are very hard to find and asked him if steelcraft would be willing to do a production run to meet this need. He spoke...

Your wasting your time. Throw them out. No one who is going to spend their time getting open the panels would bother putting the stock speakers back. I could not even give away my brand new ones.
I got mine on Ebay NOS for $65 last year but you dont see them on there that often. They are available online if you google the part # and cost $100 with shipping. So $100 is a very good offer!
I bought the front WAAG bar and the rear bar and even though they are expensive they are worth every penny. I have been looking for the tail light guards for about a year and I am to the point that I am just gonna call waag back up and have them make me a set.
