Your wasting your time. Throw them out. No one who is going to spend their time getting open the panels would bother putting the stock speakers back. I could not even give away my brand new ones.

I have never seen a set that mounts to the outside of the tail light. All the brands that I have seen mount by two tabs between the taillight and the gate.
