My Gen2 has a bad alignment as my tires are wearing on the outside. Only 20K miles and the outside of the tread is shot.
After this season of potholes i have now also developed a vibration in the steering wheel. Not a high frequency run, something more low frequency/ noticeable movement.
Yes i do plan on running new ground and power wires. I tried to convey that i only would use the audio wiring coming from the head unit.
I saw how Ford wired the speakers in my 2003 ST so i wanted to make sure it wasn't something unique like that. Also i wanted to make sure there was a...
I have a 2009 ST with the subwoofer and was just wondering how the sub and amp is wired back there. Specifically if i can uninstall the stock sub and amp and use the current wiring for the audio to the my new amp or if additional audio wiring/equipment is required.
Bringing this thread back rather than starting a new one.
I've heard of the numerous issues regarding the "Transmission bump" in the Gen2 V8's. I have a 2009 Adrenalin and thought my ST would not be affected. Everybody mentioned the TSB's but i figured '09 should be already up to date...
I had no problems with the supercharged trac, just thought it was time to upgrade to the much better chassis on the Gen2. Mine was a 2003. The Adrenalin's caught my eye and with rumor running around that production on the Trac was going to cease i wanted to get a new one before it was too late.
You guys are in the stone ages...
But really though i'm surprised there are that many running on 1024x768 monitors. i thought for sure 1280x1024 is the what a majority of people are running today.
My main monitor is 1920x1200 and i actually have a second one running at 1680x1050.
Last January i got $10,000 trade with 40k miles on my 2003 Sport Trac XLT 4x4 with leather which was $500 over what the book said was the trade in value at the time. This in the midwest/chicago region where, used cars were selling pretty good due to the economy and there was snow on the ground...
You have a Gen1 V6 and since i have a Gen2 V8 i would definitely need the tunes.
If tunes from Torrie are going to run me $150 then i would offer $150 for your Xcal3.
You might be better off finding someone who has a Gen1 V6 and will find more value in your Xcal3 than me having to buy...
I just emailed torrie about purchasing an Xcal3, i would be interested in buying from you but i need to understand the logistics of buying a Xcal3 that was for a different vehicle and the cost of getting the appropriate tunes from Torrie.
