The knock sensor is something new to me until recently when I put my Bluetooth module on our 2004 TAHOE to analyze a "Check Engine". It reported a problem with the knock sensor, which after I cleared it hasn't returned...
The symptom is not constant, but now when I am driving it seems at about 2K the engine starts to stall and I have to let up on the gas peddle and slowly press it. Can't use the vehicle until this is resolved. TIA
I used the correct plugs plug wires and coil pack. I will need to look up the part#'s but it was a few months ago. I had changed the plugs, plug wires and coil pack cause it was way past due and also to alleviate the problem.

2002 ST Sometimes when I press the gas at about 2K it feels like I ran over something small. I feel these little bumps. Otherwise runs idles smoothly, accelerates smoothly, not throwing codes.
New plugs and coil.

I wanted to avoid cutting off the connector and splicing up there in that confined space, but if that's the way to go, I will.
it can't be too much worse than replacing #2 spark plug (!)
