    rain coming in ?

Fixed mine by removing the 2 screws that hold the light in and applied liberal amounts of clear silicone and put back together. Guess what??? No more leaks. Total cost 10 minutes and $0.00

    Sport track 4x4 towing

If you have a limited slip rear end it sounds like the clutchs could be sticking. May need new fluid and additive.

    Strange click from gear shifter

Ya, my 07 started doing that last year, then would not come out of park, ended up getting the entire shifter assembly replaced under waranty. Still has a slight click to it but you don't notice it unless you think about it.

    Towing with class II hitch

Sounds like you're going to do what you want anyway. But there is a reason that limits are defined for class II. Safety!! Get the correct hitch and protect yourself, your family and others on the road.

    What a Tow

Well I made it back from camping this weekend. The Sport Trac performed wonderfully with the new heavier trailer. 105 kph uphills etc no problems. That 4.6 has lots of power even compared to the 5.4 that the F150's have, 295 HP versus 300 for the 5.4.

    What a Tow

I just traded up to a 2009 21 foot Palomino trailer from my 17 foot Trail-Lite. Will find out htis weekend how it tows. I have the 4.6 V-8 and the tow package so it should not be a problem. Might be slower on the hills that all.

    Tow Package??

Yes there is a relay in the fuse block that only allows the hot line to work when the truck is running.

    08 STA shifting issue UPDATE

I have had my '07 Sport Trac for almost 2 years now and NO issues at all. Way better than my '04 F150 which spent the first year in the shop. The 4.6 V8 and 6 speed tranny are great, pulls my trailer no problems at all and it's easy to park etc etc. I do not use K&N filters as well due to the...

Engine Firewall Insulation/Liner (Confirm My Fears)

I had this same problem with my '04 F150. When camping in the fall I had some Pack Rats making a nest under the hood! What a mess every night. Put some moth balls in a old socks and leave them under the hood and no more problems. Remember to take them out before you go home! [Broken External...

'07 Stock ST City MPG Poll

I got the V8 because the mileage is the same or 1 MPG worse. I plan on pulling a small travel trailer this summer so the V8 was the way to go. However I won't be going 75 or 80 with mine!!!

    Audiophyle question?

I also have an audiophile, 6 disk in dash changer with the sub that plays MP3's. There is a small jack on the center console about 4 inches to the left of the 12 volt outlet. It runs by selecting AUX on the main unit or pushing the Media button on the steeering wheel. Works great by the way.:)

    Audiophyle question?

The IPOD / MP3 player jack is on the console beside the 12V outlet. RTFM
