    Can some one post a picture of the 4x4 control module, 2001 vintage? Need to know what it looks like. And is it under the right front kick panel?:blink: Well my guess is that the problem is not the 4x4 CM. I reinstalled the front drive shaft, and pulled the 4x4 CM the truck still will...

    hummm OK after doing the search thing and reading for hours, I'm thinking maybe the 4x4 module is going bad. But would like a second opinion. 2001 ST truck seems to have gone into 4x4 high on it's own, no dash lights on. I have tried cycling the switch, with no luck, still in 4x4 high...

    Check my library The EX is in Nashville TN, all systems are in good working order. Engine runs well and strong, trans was rebuilt about 6000 miles ago. Truck need no repairs to be a daily driver. I am selling cause I purchased a 2001 Sport Trac.
