Well I finally started my SAS project last night. This is the new front crossmember I made that the front leaf spring mount will bolt into. Got the front facia back on and you can hardly tell it is there. Thursday night the sparks will flying as I cut off all stock brackets on the front end.

It's good to get started isn't it? Dang that thing looks like it should out last the truck. My SAS starts in about 2 months. Keep the info and pixs coming.

Solid Axle Swap.

Basically you are switching out the factory Independent Front Suspension to a solid friont axle - for both a lift and for off-roading rock crawling purposes. better ground clearance but for a rougher ride...

Wheels and tires are finally ordered.

17x9 rims with 35x12.5x17 tires.

Approx 6" of suspension lift I hope. But will have over 14" of travel. My goal is to keep the lift minimal because I really dont feel like taking out the body lift. The BL has made many maintenance tasks much easier.
