you must test it when the light is on. If you still dont see the code, you need a better scanner. Many places only do engine, you could be getting a transmission code, air bag, or trans code that needs a better scanner.

Welcome, Sounds like a bad or broken band or converter, Unfortunately these transmissions are junk. You need a rebuild.

They used to make them, None around. Only what STT did above is the only option, ALSO check your rear bearings, you'd be surprised how many I've seen bad cause this too.

There are issues in 3 main spots with wiring. Under the battery, under the air box and behind the engine and intake. The insulation fails, gets rubbed or corrosion.
