I had this problem on my '03 several years ago. I took the seat apart and found the heating element wire broken in one spot. Replaced the broke section with heavy gauge wire and soldered it back together. My wife now owns the vehicle and it has not been a problem since. Len

Loose timing chain rattle is typically heard when you start the engine, prior to the hydraulic tensioners tightening up (the V6 has two timing chains). What you're describing does not sound like timing chain rattle. More like transfer case chain rattle.

Yes, confirmed! The H16/9009 is a perfect fit replacement. Just installed PUTCO Jet Yellows in mine (part #230001JY). A higher watt bulb than the 5202 (35W vs 27W) - I've experienced no problems with overheating lenses (yet).
