What Bulb Does the STA need to upgrade the fog lamps?

Its an H10 bulb(check your owners manuel). SilverStars, Nokias, Luminics(what I use). Google it and start shopping. Bob

OK, thanks. Although I haven't checked the owners manual the bulbs in the STA are small round and have an odd connection compared to what I've seen so far with the H10 bulbs for sale.

The Gen 2 STA (2008-2010) comes from the factory with Philips 5202 bulbs, for the fog lights.
Philips and Sylvania have both assured me that the crossover part number for the 5202 is either H16 or 9009 (one in the same).
This is confirmed by several after market websites as well as by members on this site.

Yes, confirmed! The H16/9009 is a perfect fit replacement. Just installed PUTCO Jet Yellows in mine (part #230001JY). A higher watt bulb than the 5202 (35W vs 27W) - I've experienced no problems with overheating lenses (yet).
