Please excuse my ignorance, as I am not necessarily a "car guy" when it comes to maintenance, parts, components, etc... I AM trying though :)

Before I'm told to do a search, please be assured that I have searched all through the forum...
I had the same issue with my ignition switch. Although I never had the truck shut off on me, my interior lights kept coming on while driving, at what seemed to be completely random times. Originally I thought it was the door not closing properly. After months of dealing with the lights and no...
Just chiming in and wish I had more to offer, other than the reassurance that you're not the only one...
I had mine replaced 3 times on each side by my local dealership (around 9 months apart, currently just under 90k miles). Now that I'm out of warranty, and both sides have gone out on me...
I was wondering if anyone on the site has advise for me, regarding my wheel bearings. I am up for my 3rd replacement (yes, both front sides have failed 3 times on me now), with less than 80k miles on the truck! The first 2 replacements were diagnosed by the dealer and covered under my...
When replacing my shifter knob, I had to remove the entire center console. I found out real quickly that without the center console, the radio lit up like normal, but I had no audio...
Once I reconnected the wiring harnesses, the audio returned. I do have sync, and the usb and aux ports...
Glad you found my original reply to this issue!
After I changed out my ignition switch, I've been free and clear of this issue for over a year and a half.... As mentioned, a good test would be to jiggle, press and/or slightly turn the key when the symptom occurs
As mentioned, this is a widely experienced issue and most have found the 3rd brake light to be the culprit. Here's my reply to another member and if you click the wrench next to my name, there is a project for the removal/replacement of the 3rd light housing... "I used GOOP (silicon based glue)...
I'v had the Ultras in my 2008 STA headlights for 4 years now. I finally had one of the bulbs go out, so I opted for the zXe bulbs. They are a little brighter, but the main difference I noticed was the clarity of the light emitted. They are VERY white with a hint of blue.... perfect, IMO. I...
Within the first 3 years of owning my 2008, I had the front bearings go out twice on the driver's side and twice on the passenger's side. It's been about a year and a half now and I haven't had any more issues. I don't have a remedy or solution, but I thought I'd share that I experienced the...
Within the first 3 years of owning my truck, I had the bearings replaced on 4 separate occasions.... twice on each of the fronts.... They were all covered under the original warranty, but if I have to do it again, I'm definitely going with something aftermarket and not what Ford uses!

The two screws have a small (tiny) rubber o-ring.
I experienced the leak when I swapped out the light and destroyed the o-rings.
I put a small amount of silicon glue in the holes and let it dry before I reset the screws.
If I had to do it again, I'd reset the screws first, then put the...
For what its worth, I had to replace both driver's side and passenger's side hubs replaced . . . TWICE . . . in 3 years and less than 50k miles . . . I'm having much better luck with the latest set, so third time might be a charm :) (It was fortunately covered under the warranty)
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I still can't seem to make a decision
There's just too many to choose from: PIAA, Nykoa, Philips, Luminics, Plasmaglo, Hella, Street Glow, . . . what about Recon? I see they carry Xenon . . .
The problem is that most of the leading...
SuperCharged SVT,
Which "$100 grill from ebay" did you use?
Was it the one in the link below?
Did you have enough material to do the nostrils?
Also, it's hard to tell by your photo, but once you cut-to-fit, is any of the "rim" from the perimeter of the insert, visible?
Even though it's...
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Well it sounds like, without a final product, pricing, options and patience, it will be nearly impossible to generate any serious interest; enough to mass produce anything just yet.
Regarding other custom work (bumpers, skirts, body kits, etc.).... although...
