Hi folks, I have been through this before but can't remember. Is there an easy way to adjust the door striker? The plastic wore out so I bought another and put it (I thought) just where the other one was. Ok so the door doesn't shut all the way and the door ajar light is on! There must be a way...

I don't really know but no one else is responding so try resetting the computer. Unplug the battery for an hour. then re bolt it on.

I have done this too many times. If the bolts are still good (not rusted through). You can buy rubber bushings from NAPA. Propoline bushings ride a bit stiffer. I raise the truck and lower the tires onto 4X4 blocks on both sides. Easy to slide the bolts in that way.

cleaned the windshield in preparation for the hurricane. I know I know it should have already been clean.

I hope someone more knowledgeable than will answer but ie looks as though it is confirming the replacement. Someone, please tell me if I am wrong.

Only a guess, the underlayment didn't have time to dry fully before painting. I had no idea there was so much to painting a vehicle. After watching Roby Layton of Layton auto body in Utah (you-tube) I realize there is much to it. Get good information before going further. Ed

Are those tensioners only available from China? How often do you have to adjust them? 'hope they hold up well for you. It would save a lot of cranking to fill the hydraulic ones prior to start.

Well ok Dillard, thanks but the truck is not worth another $4k. even if I had it. All that I can do is pump up the oil pressure before it fires. I think that I will go back to 5w30 soon though, it never gets below 60F. I hope that you find the womp womp, let us know Ed

Aloha, in a previous post about the clatter on startup (2002 4.0), someone suggested 0wt oil. That didn't help at all. I am concerned that 0 wt is too light and should I drain it and go back to 5w 30? the 0 wt has been in for about 600 miles. Any thoughts? Did I tell you that I had someone pull...

Wow Blert, you get the good ones. You could try bouncing the front with your head under the hood. Maybe you could locate the culprit. LOL Ed

There is a procedure on here somewhere to reprogram the window. You can do a search and try that.

If there is air in the line, you could pump up the pedal. If that is the case, try bleeding them. You Tube has many videos on how to. Let us know Ed

I have not had that issue. You should not either. Look at (or someone) the front pads. They may be very thin, which could cause roter wear. Is there any squeaking? Ed

Aloha folks, what it 0 wt. oil, I understand that when cold it is thin but it is a fhisiwaqual imposibobality for fluid to have no viscosity! So, what is 0? thanks God bless Ed
