Aloha folks, what it 0 wt. oil, I understand that when cold it is thin but it is a fhisiwaqual imposibobality for fluid to have no viscosity! So, what is 0?
thanks God bless Ed

it stems from ILSAC engine oil performance standard aimed at improving fuel economy
https://360.lubrizol.com/Specifications/ILSAC/ILSAC-GF-6/ILSAC-GF-6A-and-GF-6B
The 0 is a factor of the oil’s viscosity HTHS performance as noted on previous posted page, not the viscosity itself..

I'm more concerned with electronically controlled oil pumps

than again 08 sport trac will be the last computer controlled vehicle I'll ever own.

Thanks Rod, I did not realize that it wasn't the viscosity index. That is where my confusion was from.
God bless Ed
