Unfortunately, I just got rid of the rear brakes and hardware Sunday. I do still have the bed extender.

How difficult is it to get to the rear plugs? I’m ready to change.

I'll probably just turn it over to the tow lot to let them get rid of it. That is what my insurance company recommended. I put new tires on last summer!

I have new rear brake shoes, drums, and hardware sitting in the garage that I was going to put on this 2002. Anyone want that stuff? Useless to me now.....Grrrrr...... @DILLARD000, thank you so much for all of your expertise. You advised on many projects with this truck.

I feel like it is the brake shoe that is stuck somehow. Spray that from the side?

2002 Sport Track. Rear drum appears to be stuck to the brake shoes and will not come off. I can feel the springs as I pull out on the drum. It's not being held up by rust between the drum and hub. How do I get this thing off??

Reporting back. Got to the bottom of this. Caliper pins were frozen in place, not allowing pads any movement whatsoever. I gave up trying to get them out of the bracket and picked up a new caliper bracket and pins. What do you use for lube on the pins? I used a synthetic grease when I...
