    front pads

I think the 833 relates to the pad shape. The letters before and after that number are designations from the manufacturer as it relates to how they are made, semi-metallic, ceramic, or carbon.

    Dyno tuning for a 4.0

Explorer Express used to offer a roots style kit for the 4.0. One of the original members had it installed and he went through some major issues. He was not happy with the results.

    TPMS

Check the pressure. I quit going to Discount Tire because they would over inflate my tires, and break a stud. The TPMS on my wife’s car was super sensitive and had to be within 2PSI of recommended pressure listed on the door sticker.

    Rear End Whine

I would swap over the breaks, add oil and install it. Then you can build your original the way you want with the gear you want and carrier you want.

    Rear End Whine

LS is short for Limited Slip. You use a 3/4 socket on your torque wrench and place it on a lug nut and turn it.

    Rear End Whine

In my case, my clutch plates wore out and cause everything else in the carrier to wear out. You can test your LS by jacking one rear wheel, release the parking break, and put a torque wrench on it set at 40lb/ft. If the wheel turns your clutch plates are worn out.

    2010 ST transmission fluid

Transmission should be checked at operating temperature and with the engine running. Depending on what you have depends on how you check it. Some you pull the dipstick and some you remove a sight plug.

The next cheap thing to do is clean the IAC

    Engine shaking

It helps but if you know what color your injector is you can order a “Matched Set” from a 3rd party probably cheaper. Some of the shop manuals I’ve seen say my ST has 19lb/hr(black) when mine has 24lb/hr(dark blue). You can always try and clean them all by hand.

    Engine shaking

What do you mean 3? You have 6. The ECM says there’s a problem with cylinder #1. You could remove that injector and attempt to clean it by hand. There are several videos on YouTube showing how people clean theirs. The best thing to do is replace it, but if that one is dirty to the point where...

    Engine shaking

I believe I said this before on an earlier post you made but you have a bad injector. Your codes say “Lean” and “#1 mis fire” and your data shows the ECM is trying to add more gas by 25%. To have proper combustion you need Air, Fuel, and Spark. You have air because it does run. You should have...

2008 Sport Trac Vents go warm but not HOT!

It could be the “Max A/C” valve. It’s on the line going to the core and shuts off coolant flow when you select Max A/C. It’s possible that it may be stuck closed or partially open.

    Cruise control issue

You can order new buttons from the web and it is easy to replace.

    Engine vibration

I’m 99% sure your engine mount is good. Don’t change engine mounts to fix your mis-fire in cylinder #1. The water dripping from the tail pipe is normal. Water is a by product of the catalytic converter and it’s also from your exhaust system not at running temp.

Sliding power rear window and sunroof

Right, I couldn’t remember the exact year model but as a member of “My Sport Trac” we were given the opportunity to see the new body when they unveiled it at the Texas State Fair in 2006. I didn’t like the fact it did not have the same rear window as mine, and they moved the gas door to the...

Sliding power rear window and sunroof

The first year of the Gen2 (2005?) did not have a sliding rear window

    AC compressor rapid cycling

    That’s a decent price

    AC compressor rapid cycling

If it is cycling then clutch gap is good. The cycles should be 45-60sec when outside temp is in the 70’s also the engine has to be at operating temp. If it’s less then that you need to add more Freon.
