I have 120K on my '01 Sport Trac and am in need of replacing it. I have a 4 x 2 that I've invested an extra $ 10,000 + "playing with it" as most on this website have experienced. What should I expect to pay for this? I have been quoted by a local about $ 4000 which seems high to me.

Immediate need for replacement tranny for my '01 4 x 2 Sport Trac.

I've got a set of OEM Ford bars from my '01 that I am getting rid of. The question has been asked if the '01 bars will fit on an '03. Any help out there, please?

Bossman - I've got a pending deal but will let you know. Not sure if they are the same as the '03 but I would think they are. I'll post a query on the site to be sure.

Shannon these are the original Ford bars that came with the truck. They are gray with gray top grid. I believe that Ford changed the top grid to black starting in '02.
