Shannon these are the original Ford bars that came with the truck. They are gray with gray top grid. I believe that Ford changed the top grid to black starting in '02.

hey, i'm interested if it will work on my st. i have an 03 xls. i can pick them up in houston, but i wont be there til about august 13th or so. i know thats a long time, so if you're not willing thats fine. just let me know if you know if they will fit or not on my st, and if they do and you're willing to wait that long, you got a deal. thanks.

Bossman - I've got a pending deal but will let you know. Not sure if they are the same as the '03 but I would think they are. I'll post a query on the site to be sure.
