Tire thoughts....I picked 3, Input please

Go with the Michelin LTX M/S tires. I'm on my 2nd set. Very quiet, smooth ride, great at high speed well past the legal speed limit, long life, very good traction wet or dry. If you like a real stiff sidewall then Michelin is not the tire for you, but they do take turns very well. My trac takes...

Engine turns over easily, but will not start

I have a 2001 sport trac. It has been having an intermittent starting problem mostly cold but only hot once. It will take 1/2 to 1 hour to get it to start, then runs like a diesel for about 20 seconds. I took it to the dealer and they did a major tuneup, cleaned intake manifold, replaced fuel...

    Remember when

I remember when gas passed $1.00. Everybody was yelling for cars that get better gas milage. The Honda Civic was advertized to get 55 mpg highway. 25 to 30 years later hybreds are getting just a little better gas milage.

It needs to know what key set (number) I have. Where can I find what my key set (number) is? Is it in the sport trac manual, on the car door?

The rear end is light, adding a couple hundred pounds in the bed will help with rear wheel traction. This is a trick that anybody that drives a pickup truck knows. It can be the difference between having to use 4 wheel drive or staying in 2 wheel drive. I have...

Snap-On Tools are very good tools but they are very expensive, 2 to 3 time more expensive than Craftsman tools. I have them both. If you work in a shop where Snap-on comes in each week then it is convenent to have a broken tool replaced. The shop I'm in new doesn't have Snap-on dealer come...
